Being committed means taking action based on values and convictions, and upholding those values in the long term.
Working to support our people, our terroir, our planet and our ecosystem, working to safeguard the
future.

01
A commitment
to the vineyards
Respect for the earth and all living things
Champagne de BARFONTARC and its member winegrowers work together to continuously improve how they work. This requires a deep respect for the land and the people who work on it. Our winegrowers benefit from cutting-edge technical support, which allows them to develop increasingly sustainable viticultural practices.
And we have proof of that: 80% of the vineyard is certified with the Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne label (we aim for 100% by 2030) and HVE (High Environmental Value) labels.

Transparency, responsiveness, accessibility and a close working relationship are the watchwords for our day-to-day business. The backbone of our professional approach is interaction, trust and shared values.

What we are doing to promote our region
As an ambassador for its local area, Champagne de BARFONTARC undeniably contributes to the economic, social and cultural vitality of the Aube region. These strong roots, fortified by the cooperative and its 54 member winegrowers, naturally motivates de BARFONTARC to support local initiatives, to work on preserving and enhancing its natural spaces and, more broadly, to promote this beautiful region.
